Alice lived in a flash of light.

The constraints of time and space were nothing to her and she could happily zip in and out of the past and future like a passenger disembarking a train.

When one lives in the flash of light or the tail of a star, the possibilities are endless. Whether Paris in the Spring, Riding the waves of the Med on a yacht shining with teak, or on Mars, there was still one favorite moment and activity for Alice.

The suspended moment of joy in the void of noiselessness with a good book and old friends. Yes, this was Alice's favorite place, right here, right now, reading and being with her furred friends.

When one has the world open to them, sometimes it is a closed little bit of it that seems the most enticing.
