Drawing a familiar face used a pencils sketch technique

Good Morning Guys..
I will draw the man i admire in this world, yess he is my brother who always there at any time when i need him. I have not drawing at all since i started going to study at university in information technique 2 years ago. Because i always have some exam and group assignment i have work on in some projects that are more important than taking the time to drawing. And in the end i often end up watching a movie or hanging out with my friends rather than studying or drawing something which indeed becomes my hobby when i was child.

Since i was active in steemit, i have always wanted to develop my talents in drawing and i am more and more motivated as long as i know the steemit. A lot of knowladge about art that i get from this Blockchain, i always draw with step by step to displayong the process, although my work is still far from perfect but i am always happy and satisfied with the result.

As my admire for my brother figure. I painted his face to deepen my longing for him. Here is a picture of the steps of my brother face.

The materials to be prepared is :

Some pencils (pencil mechanic, an pencil 2B)
Eraser
A4 size drawing paper
Razor blades for pencil sharpening
And spirit (^_^)

And this is a picture of my brother that i will draw with a pencil leter on. I think he is very very handsome.

Step by step drawing
Step 1 : Draw a line to make it easier to draw, and they need to determine the size of the face you want to make.

Step 2 : Draw and set the layout of the nose, eyes, mouth and ears so that the image looks in accordance with the size of the head we created earlier (see picture above).

Step 3 : After all the picture is finished also the hair shape and his beard. In this picture he has all of his thick hair so it is rather difficult to draw.

Step 4 : At this stage the face is almost finished polished and the entire face was already starting to look like on the photo, on the eyes an mouth also has been formed, it would be nice to use some kind of pencil that has a different collection to get good result.

Step 5 : At this stage i will draw a part of his body, it would be better if we make a line first with a thin line before we make a hatch on the neck an clothes as shown below.

*Step 6 : After we finished sketching on the neck and body, just now we shaded the inside of the neck and clothing so that the image will look alive than before. Make sure the shading must be in the direction of the image look better.

Step 7 : Make a careful shade, and arrange the thickness in the shading that produces shadows on the clothes look real amd in accordance with the photo, although actually a lot less but i am very hapy that picture is almost finished.

Step 8 : And this is the end result of my work which in the end my brother's face is not similiat to the photo above, but overall for as a beginner this is good enough i guess. And after the face sketch is done, you can do the image thickness to make it look real with a pencil, thickness is done to give more detailed impression of the image.

Note : In this technique of drawing human face tutorial i suggest also try to draw again so that your skills more honed. I also recommend that you use a reference to sense or sense of the face shape is also more mature. Thus leter you can just draw a face without reference but the result remain good and look realistic.
