My Entry To: ART activity by Danielfs: the human body

This is my drawing submission to the art activity of the week hosted by @danielfs. The theme is about human body. If you want to join here is the post to the art activity.

On my digital art entry I used a drawing app, Autodesk. I chose the male human figure to draw. Below shows a few stages of the drawing. It took me 20 minutes to finish. That is how I work. I just go for it if I feel like doing the task in one sitting. Once I got distracted I will definitely lose my interest and may not finish the drawing.

Drawing the base for my figure

Identifying the highlights and marking the various body and facial features.

Putting more details on the face then shading the nearby area darker to make the human figure pop.

That's the quick steps I took to finish. The idea on this piece of drawing is, a human body found by aliens after a thousand years when the earth was struck by a giant meteor. The temperature dropped freezing the entire face of the Earth and this human body was still intact when the alien explorers found it.
