The striped villain in the Batman/The Shadow series

Now you will find out what happened to the Zebra-Man after leaving the Menagerie and fights with Batman.

The action takes place on Earth 0 in Gotham. From a reliable source, the main character learns that the Joker has caught and tied up Batman. Arriving at the temporary shelter of the clown, the Zebra-Man meets other villains of the city:

The Prince of Crime tells the others that a warlock was imprisoned here a long time ago. The city grew up around this tomb, nurtured by his suffering. This is where the evil in Gotham originated. Joker and the others decide to cut out Bruce's heart. At the last moment, they are dispersed by a sudden Shadow that frees Wayne. The main character tries to knock Batman out from behind, but the clown suddenly cuts his throat. Fortunately, the Zebra-Man manages to survive.

Waking up, the main character finds out that he was under the control of a The Stag for several days. Fortunately, Wayne stopped the latter and the Joker, thereby freeing the rest of the villains from someone else's influence.
