Now we will talk about what happened to Superman before appearing in the series.

The action takes place in the "DCAU". The backstory is in many ways similar to the story of Superman (Kal-El) (New Earth). Kal-El defeats Metallo and Mr. Mxyzptlk, and then saves Lois Lane from the robot Lex Luthor, and the children from the flood.

Some time later, Kent fights Mechanical Monsters created by Dr. Thaddeus Killgrave. After defeating them and breaking into the inventor's laboratory, Superman sees Jimmy Olsen taken hostage. After dealing with Killgrave and quickly changing into a reporter's uniform, the main character helps Jimmy with a new newspaper.

When Kal-El and Lois are walking in an amusement park, the first one notices that some of the rides come to life and attack people. It turns out that it was arranged by Mr. Mxyzptlk. Taking advantage of this, Clark animates his reflections from the laughing room. Thus, Kent saves all the people and forces Mxyzptlk to leave. After changing clothes, Superman tells Lane that the date went well.

Later, the main character finds out that Lois and Jimmy are being attacked by Doomsday. Using an empty school bus and thermal imaging, Kal-El quickly neutralizes the attacker and sends him far into space.

A few months later, Batman contacts Clark. Kent learns that the Martian Manhunter, Booster Gold, Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) and Captain Atom have been frozen and abducted by the Appellaxians. While searching for a possible hiding place of the opponents, Superman meets Bruce, Wonder Woman and Flash (Wally West). Finding and breaking into the shelter of the aliens, the heroes defeat them.
