The action takes place on Earth 0 in Belle Reve. Kon-El is a member of the Suicide Squad (0). It consists of:
- Culebra (0)
- Nocturna (0)
- Peacemaker (0)
- Superboy
- Talon (William Cobb) (0)
While Amanda Waller tortures Red X III (0), the Peacemaker gathers the rest of the team in the laundry room. Christopher suggests they overthrow Amanda. Conner learns that Nocturna, on Waller's orders, put him into a trance and extracted all the information from him.
Later, the Squad finds out that X arranged the escape of the prisoners. Chris sends Natalia and Kent to deal with them. When Superboy tries to stop Red X, he knocks him out with a powerful discharge of current and gets into the ventilation duct. Upon waking up, the main character learns that X blew up one of the rooms, after which he escaped along with most of the prisoners, including Rick Flag (0).
