Progress of a Painting - A collaboration of two artists "CIRCUS MAXIMUS"

Painting together

...can be a nice thing if you work solitary in your studio most of the time. It did some collaborations with different artists over the years, but this one was very special as we had several days together and so we were able to work on a bigger project.

This piece you see here is the original painting for an exhibition poster and postcards. It was meant for my 2012 exhibition at Krock, Kneip & Rother. I worked together with my friend Jochen who is a Tattoo artist in Mainz.

The exhibition was pretty crowded because many people showed up who had no real idea what the event was about...they just thought the poster looked pretty interesting. :-)

Mission accomplished I guess...
