The Statue of Liberty, a spectacular and iconic structure located on the Liberty Island in New York Harbor, in New York. A gift from the French to celebrate the independence of the United States in 1776.
Officially dedicated on the 28th of October 1886....
....and more than 211 years on, still looking stronger than ever before.
From sunrise...
.... to beautiful sunset as the statue watches on as always over the city.
Seen from the skies.....
... a great symbol of the true freedom from tyranny and oppression
True spectacles of nature, wrapped in wisdom and will.
