added silicone to the set of paints that I have used, along with a product called
Floetrol, & here is the result.

Interesting - coincidentally, I watched a bunch of YouTube videos on the subject just today. The trick is to make it uniquely yours. I could see some application for it as a background for a painting.
You tube is where I got the inspiration to try this technique, using this as a background is a great idea, I will have to try that in my next oil painting.
