Painting: That Darned Perspective Thing Again
I’m still fussing over the underpainting to get all the lines in the right place. Those lines in the upper left are especially difficult because of the complexity of the windows and angles of the building.
I sure do appreciate Classical proportions and symmetry for the simplicity. Wow these modern buildings are complex.
But, I’m having more fun than ever with this one. It’s coming together rather quickly and soon I can start slathering it with some thicker paint. Usually I paint with very little texture. My layers are very thin. I think I’ll use a bit more this time.
