Art Work: In Memory of Mama Elizabeth O.

Dear All,

Here is one of my art that I made some months ago, precisely last year November! When Mama Elizabeth passed away.

I made this art in memory of Mama Elizabeth O. Everyone usually regarded her as mama omowere (mama who love children) she is women who treated children equally, some of us grow up knew her to be our grand mama until we grow mature before we realized she not our grand-mother!

I can say these about her: Mana Elizabeth she a good women with virtue, for a parent to entrust their children to someone, such person has to be one with unique moral and behavior, the good parts is that she usually share a little story about being a generous man and the benefits that attracted an act of kindness and generosity.

Among her story I remember correctly one which always rang in my heart:

There was a man who invented his time, money and energy on his son called "Akin" this son has a friend who his parents has no power nor buoyant financially to sponsor their son in school, they asked this boy to dropped out of the school because they couldn't avoid to pay his school fees.

Akin, the wise boy shared his friend plight with his father, he urged his father to help his friend and his father accepted to do as Akin requested. In the second year of their study, immediately after they finished with their semester examination, Akin friend was given a scholarship to completed his study in abroad !

But unfortunately Akin and his close friend lost contact, during this period in 60s here was no phones or any cheap means of communication like we had today!

Few years later, Akin friend returned home from abroad, as he landed he thought of checked on his friend Akin, but condition he met Akin family was not palatable everything has down for entire for the family, he felt pity at them, the next day he visited Akin family it was an amazing visit as he bring back hope to this family, meeting their needs and went back to abroad together with his friend "Akin"

She always urged us to do good to everyone without anticipating for anything in return! She will be saying whatever you do today, you shall reap it tomorrow either of Good or Bad" she is gone but her memory will continue to live with us!
