Computer Generated Art- Sonic Pi and Processing

in #art6 years ago (edited)

Good morning Steemians! One of the things that annoyed me when I was working on computer projects was that I would put in all of this effort to make programs that analyzed data and didn't really make anything of beauty. I feel it is important to make the world a more beautiful place and enhance it's beauty.

So, I have learned about Sonic Pi, Processing, and making art and music with code!

This is a little video that I made yesterday. It is a random-ish piano composition accompanied by slightly randomly programmed artwork.

These are some of the frames from my video that I think are quite beautiful.

This was one of my earlier videos about chords and arpeggios in Sonic Pi.

And this is some of my artwork from that video.
