My Shark Shelf Design !
Hi Everyone,
Hope you day is going well! This design is something I once came up with when I was a bit fixated with the shape of the shark fin. It is truly an iconic shape that often brings fear in people. However if we forget the fact that it's the fin of a shark and view it as an object it is actually quite beautiful don't you think ?
The shelf material is metal and the actual fin can be moved around as it is attached with a very strong metal. It can be used just for decoration or it can be a book stand like in this case.

Clever! Not only is it a unique design it's explanation (in the comments) makes it even better. Hope you patent it or something, as has been my nightmare EVERYTHING gets 'borrowed' in social media.
Thank you kindly for your comment it is very appreciated! Having lived in China for 15 years I know that people "borrowing" is a headache, but of course the problem is universal. Inspiration is good but copying is not. Are you a designer ?

Cool, but wouldnt it be even better if the fin was at the very end of the shelf?
My idea is that you can move the fin Around, it should be attached with a strong magnet at the bottom of the fin. So if you want you can put it at the very end as I agree you can make better use of the shelf space this way .

Hahah, yea it is still a bit scary . I was thinking of other things which can be used instead and which also would have the illustion of sticking up from the water surface and that would be the back fin of a whale, i think it could be quite elegant and also it wouldnt be too scary :)
