How does Data Tang studio's story come to life - Week 1 Vol.4

Hello guys, today we want to share with you guys how we design characters. The story is about a Master Crocodile and his crew's magical journey to the "Greatest Temple"... We imagined the two main characters to be Master Crocodile and a little girl. And we want their personalities to have a great contrast, which will create whimsy chemistry.
In this initial phase, Yunhao drew various style characters to see what type of characters would look interesting together. And which character we think will have interesting stories you guys will look forward seeing.
The initial thought for Master Crocodile is this very calm, expressionless character, but he would suddenly react to some dramatic events such as a jump scare or prank by the little girl. He maybe have a few side kicks that are quirky but skillful.

We imagine the little girl to be witty, adorable and always thinking about ideas to prank Master Crocodile. But at point of danger, she is smart and can always think of solutions to overcome conflicts along their magical journey to the "Greatest Temple".

We will continue to develop these characters until we think the characters are rich enough. In this process your comments are really important for us. Who do you want to see in our story?
