Crypto Collectibles presents "Heart (Unity) feels good man" for Art Explosion Beautiful Monsters and Ugly Art Challenge
An entry for @jnart's Ugly Art Challenge and @juliakponsford's Art Explosion with the theme of Beautiful Monsters. This piece pays homage to Keith Haring's piece titled "Heart (Unity)" using Matt Furie's comic "Boy's Club" characters Andy, Brett, Landwolf, and Pepe the Frog.
Pepe the Frog once felt good man, but then was made into a meme and used and abused to the point that the Anti-Defamation League has labeled Pepe a hate symbol. Currently creator Matt is making efforts to sue "Alt-Right" websites. The medium used in the piece was pencils, Sharpie, then digital coloring matching the blues, browns, yellows, and greens of the characters, with minimal amount of clean up editing on purpose.
