Giant Chess Set

Hey everyone, I took a ride to Menlyn Park shopping centre one of the biggest malls in the country which has just completed an epic re-vamp and was pleasantly surprised to see this monstosity, a life size chess set.

Menlyn Park Shopping Centre is a shopping mall in Menlyn, Pretoria, South Africa, owned by development company Pareto.[1] Menlyn Park is designed around three spaces – the Food Court, the keyhole malls and focal points, and a large internal garden square surrounded by restaurants. Menlyn Park has a total lettable floor space of 177,000m², over 500 stores, 16 parking entrances, 12 parking exits and 8,250 parking bays. This fantastic mall boasts a whole bunch of everything for everyone, kids and grown ups alike, now if I just get someone to join me for a sneaky round of chess?

Art certainly does come in all shapes and forms but the prospect of a grotesque, massive chrome ball? WOW I am not so sure about this?
