Adolphus Busch, founder of Budweiser Beer, would hand out pocket knives instead of business cards.
His people skills and business savvy was always a step ahead of his competition, offering tours of his brewery before that was a common practice.
He was pasteurizing his beer before the rest of America had pasteurized milk since he discovered it allowed it to keep longer and be shipped further.
