History of the Devil Inspired Art
In 1900, a book by Paul Carus was published titled The History of the Devil and the Idea of Evil. It explores various myths from around the world about the devil.
I mostly look at this book for its art. It has depictions of demons and devils from all over the world and from different time periods. I made this art based on the cover, which used an image by Emile Bayard, which shows some sort of occult ritual.
Cheers.
