If there is something that women and art have to have in common, it is that they are the maximum expression of beauty, as subjective as poetic, and what better way to represent beauty than to make a drawing in which female beauty could be highlighted? for this I bring you a Post in which you can see the process of my work doing this work, which will be part of "Russo" the Graphic Novel of which I will explain a little more soon.

The Process

For this work I used pens and colored pencils, this time the initial sketch was made only with a pen carefully enough not to make mistakes in the proportion of the body. While it is not the first time I make drawings of the female body, if it is the first time I work in this style and with this degree of difficulty.

The color in this work was easy to apply, it is blue and red colored pencils marked on opposite sides and near the center of the body I applied the skin color gently, that way a good impression of lighting is achieved.

This type of lighting with blue and red colors give the work an impression of opacity, as if the work were developed in a closed and opaque place with neon lights. These details will be quite applied in the development of my graphic novel, marking a very personal style of illustration.
