Para empezar, dibujé el boceto a lápiz, algo lineal y sencillo, para posteriormente marcarlo con bolígrafo solo en los bordes, dividiendo las zonas donde iban los colores, y luego marcando las escamas del pez de la izquierda, comencé a aplicar el color Naranja en las zonas indicadas anteriormente y con el mismo bolígrafo pinté las manchas negras en el cuerpo del pez.

To begin, I drew the pencil sketch, somewhat linear and simple, to later mark it with a pen only on the edges, dividing the areas where the colors were going, and then marking the scales of the fish on the left, I began to apply the color Orange in the areas indicated above and with the same pen I painted the black spots on the body of the fish.

Para el pez de la derecha usé colores Naranja y Rojo, oscureciendo un poco mas las escamas y dejando algunos espacios en blanco para diferenciarlo de los colores del pez de la izquierda, y al finalizar el motivo principal del diseño, pinté con el bolígrafo suavemente las sombras de la parte de abajo, lo cual le da un efecto de profundidad a los peces, tal y como si nadaran en un pequeño estanque y sus sombras se vieran reflejadas en el fondo.

For the fish on the right I used Orange and Red colors, darkening the scales a little more and leaving some blank spaces to differentiate it from the colors of the fish on the left, and at the end of the main motive of the design, I gently painted the pens with the pen. shadows from the bottom, which gives a deep effect to the fish, just as if they were swimming in a small pond and their shadows were reflected in the bottom of the pond.

Y por último, los símbolos de la derecha, llamados "Kanji", el primero en la parte superior, de rojo, simboliza al dragón, el cual dentro de la leyenda de los peces Koi, es la recompensa de los dioses para todos los peces que logren escalar a la cima de la "Cascada del Dragón", Y los caracteres en negro que significan "Bushido", traducido al español "El Camino del Guerrero", este el el código de honor bajo el cual se regían los Samuráis en el Japón de la época medieval.

And finally, the symbols on the right, called "Kanji", the first one at the top, in red, symbolizes the dragon, which within the legend of the Koi fish, is the reward of the gods for all fish that climb to the top of the "Dragon Waterfall", and the black characters that mean "Bushido", translated into Spanish "The Way of the Warrior", this is the code of honor under which the Samurai ruled in the Japan from the medieval era.

Hace poco mas de un mes me decidí a tatuarme, a pesar de que antes tenía mis dudas, después de ubicar y modificar por un par de días los diseños, mi padre se tomó una noche libre para tatuarme, sinceramente, no podría haber confiado en ninguna otra persona para dibujar sobre mi piel de forma permanente, pues estoy convencido de que mi padre es el mejor artista que conozco. Luego del primer tatuaje esto se volvió adictivo, así terminé por tatuarme tres veces la misma semana, dos tatuajes en el brazo y uno en la espalda, cada uno con su diferente significado, tal vez podría contar esta historia en un siguiente post si la gente lo pide.

A little over a month ago I decided to get a tattoo, even though I had my doubts before, after locating and modifying the designs for a couple of days, my father took a night off to tattoo me, honestly, I couldn't have trusted no other person to draw on my skin permanently, because I am convinced that my father is the best artist I know. After the first tattoo this became addictive, so I ended up getting tattooed three times the same week, two tattoos on the arm and one on the back, each with its different meaning, maybe I could tell this story in a next post if people ask for it.
