Untitled Academic Charcoal Drawing
Sharing here an academic charcoal created circa 2010 or so. I had fun bringing in the game console peripherals in juxtaposition to more classical still life elements. This was sort of a field test for a potential painting at the time.

Thanks! I really had fun with this one; playing with both composition and narration at the same time. The psycho sexual and game console elements seemed to meld together really well, haha.
It really does. I tried zooming up to page read the chapter title but couldn't make out the last word.
The page is from a book by Osho called "The Book of Secrets". The chapter was titled "Surrendering in Sex and Surrendering to Another."
I'll have to look that up.
