The Ascension

Unlike my other Jātaka works, the Budgie/Parrot is implied symbolically through the gesture and levitation of the figure above the extraterrestrial surface. This work visualizes a sense of being unbound and free. The figure emerges out of the shadows into illumination while leaving behind the planetary surface. The light source remains unseen, speaking to the perpetual mystery at each new layer of enlightenment.

You got me with this one, can't describe exactly my feelings, maybe feel like floating and relaxing while watching this painting, like entering into the body of a boy..
