Welcome to my sketching series, Exclusively on Steemit.

Subject: Daniel Craig

Duration: 40 Minutes

I did something different this time around. So I wanted to add a little pop to my sketches so for now on I'll be adding these colorful backgrounds. I'll also be adding some cool abstract designs to it in my future drawings. Now about the sketch of the day, I drew Daniel Craig. I really like him in the 007 Movies, especially in Casino Royale and Skyfall. I figured that this will make a great sketch so I picked a photo of him that brought some of the shadows out. It's pretty easy for me to sketch these types of portraits with good lighting as it brings out the facial structure of the subject.

I started drawing the eyes, the outlines of the nose, and partially the mouth. I usually to this for all my sketches at first.

This is where I start to shade around the eyes, nose, and lips.

Then I began to shade some of the wringles and also the nose.

After completing most of the face, I moved up to outline the whole head including the hair.

I just added a few lines of hair. It's a more simple approach but effective.

Last thing, I partially sketched the jacket and shirt. Also, My new addition to my sketches is the watercolor background. It makes my drawings less dull.
