Here in Brazil it is winter and although it lives in the northeast region where it does not have how to feel very cold, we have sense yes. And this cold weather makes you want to stay in bed despite the dawn and the obligations of the new day.

And to sleep even more comfortably, I brought to you today an easy owl sleeping mask to do.😊

We will need:

  • Felt fabric in the colors of your choice;
  • Black line to embroider closed eyes;
  • Line in the color of your preference to sew the circles and the loops;
  • Scissors
  • Fabric or satin ribbon
  • Needle
  • Pencil

I chose the green and pink colors for the circles and the orange color to make the owl's beak.

I used a cup to make the circle bigger, and a cup to make the circle smaller.

To make a spout, I cut a small triangle.

Let's go step by step!

1

For each eye, cut 2 larger circles and 1 smaller, adding the total of 4 larger circles and 2 smaller ones.

For the beak, I cut 2 triangles, because it needs to be firm since it will unite the eyes. Sew together the two parts and set aside, as it finishes the mask.

To make the seam discreet, start by sewing the smaller circle in only one of the larger circles.

In the smaller circle, draw the closed eye, border with the black line and finish sewing next to the second larger circle, which will hide the stitching and will also serve to line not to disturb our eyes.

Then, sew the tape, and we will have ready the first part of the mask. Repeat the process to make the second eye.

My husband @jsantana was my model in the presentation of the owl sleeping mask.😄

Finally, use the beak to join the two eyes and you will have finished your sleeping owl mask.

Thank you very much for your attention and in the next posts I bring you with more Art & HowTo tutorials!!

Thank you, me too :)

Muito legal :)

Parabéns!

Obrigada! :)

Thanks for the how-to post on a really cool mask. It is sure nicer than my funky hats I wear to keep out the light and keep me warm. Though I'm not much on the sewing end of things. Very creative.

Thank you! :)

For the smallest)

And for the big ones who have a little one in them too. :)
