I think you have all the workings to be an artist. As subjective as one may seem it, really it's the ability to think creatively and find the means to express it. Even if it pertains to what outfit you'll be wearing on a certain day. In my opinion, to be human is to be an artist and the purpose, to do and share.
Thanks, I suppose you are spot on with the being human is an art concept. We are all pretty unique.
This theme (what is art) has been long debated, but has not been resolved until now ...

I believe everyone has one's own taste or idea of what are its.
There is an art piece out there to appeal to every individual taste.
I was an art consultant for 10 years and I saw there is an art piece for every person.

Feel ya @clayboyn ...that's why I don't really concern my self with labels an go on creating things I like, mostly for me, because it's fun and therapuetic
Is it art? Sure, as long as even the question arises, the answer is yes, because anything can be art.
Is it good art? That depends on what you think art is supposed to do. Most people say it's supposed to communicate something from the artist to the viewer. So, if it's successfully communicated what you wanted, then it's good, in your view. From my pov, I have to guess what you wanted to communicate, and based on my guess decide if it's successful and if I like it (those two usually go together for me).

Loved this series, Clay. I see artists as having the ability to interpret the universal consciousness. If one has no frame of reference what I just wrote will sound hokey. But what it usually means in practice is that artistry is transferable across mediums:)

It's okay! There's some people on Steemit who believe I'm an artist when even I still don't feel that way at times.
