This piece is an artwork from a laser engraving machine at FABLAB Mindanao - an innovation system that transforms ideas for value creation and wealth generation. Fablab is also called the "red lab" in the Mindanao State University - Iligan where lots of students or even SME's process their projects for high quality output.

These outputs are very detailed and it proves that the machines are of high quality in cutting and engraving woods and other materials. It allows students to put their hearts out into the art by providing a technical prototyping platform for innovation and invention and providing stimulus for local entrepreneurship.

This machine has already been used for a lot of projects already and some of those outputs were actually competing internationally. They also have embroidering machines, different kinds of 3D Printers which already built components of an Eco-car, pet-tracker collar, and other parts used in devices and electronics by the students and clients.
