Art 164: My Drawing of Franco from Mobile Legends!
Hello, Steemit World!
I am here again to share my recent creation. This is still a hero character in the hit mobile game called Mobile Legends: Bang Bang that you can install for free. His name is Franco. He is a tank who hooks enemies towards him. He is strong, big and dangerous. While on play, he says these words, “One Shot, One Kill”, so you better be careful around him.
The Process in GIF
I started drawing Franco five days ago and I just finished him today. Yes, it is kind of lengthy because I easily get bored and sleepy when I am drawing. But if I worked on this straight, I think I would finish it in 5 to 6 hours only. Yes, it still takes so much time my dear because I used two mediums for this artwork - color pens and colored pencils.
I sketched the outlines of the hero using ordinary drawing pencils to guide me in the coloring on the later part.
Before I used colored pencils, I put a base color using color pens. I love using Faber Castell Color Pens because they are very rich and vibrant. I made sure that I used a lighter color so that I can adjust on it easily for the second coat. Example, if the final color is brown, I use an orange color pen as the base color.
After a section or part is applied with the base color, I use my Prismacolor Premiere colored pencils to do the final coloring. I apply all my knowledge in tonal values and shading here to make it look very appealing. This one takes so much practice. I still consider my works up to now as practices for a better artworks in the future.
I moved to the next part and repeated the process in numbers 2 and 3 until all parts of the drawing are done.

Your drawing is fantastic friend, brilliant colors. I love the big wooden mug in his hand, it looks like real wood wow! There is so many awsome details I like in this drawing, like the shading in the yellow at the top of his boot, and the armor piece at his shoulder. There is a lot of perspective drawing in that face in his shoulder armor, that wasn’t easy to do, I’m sure, at least it wouldn’t be for me, it’s perfect. I really appreciate the extra time it took you to do this drawing brother, it’s a real quality piece of art with much time evolved and it shows. The end results to me is definitely worth the time❣️
