Devils and ghosts rise up for Spanish festival
Things got macabre in Luzon, a village in Guadalajara, Spain on Sunday when people painted their faces and donned costumes for the annual “Diablos de Luzon” (Luzon’s Devils) carnival.
Every year, Luzon hosts one of the least known carnival festival named
"LA FIESTA DE LOS DIABLOS Y MASCARITAS" (FESTIVAL OF DEVILS AND MASKS)
The event is believed to date from Celtic times, although the first written reference document the Luzon's carnival from the 14th century.
Quite interesting
