"Dusan"
Two days ago, I posted an oil of my friend Dusan Ciran working on location. Here’s a portrait of him that I painted in the studio we shared at Lawrence and Pulaski in Chicago.

We painted each other again at the same time. It’s kind of tricky doing this because both painters have to turn their heads to look at each other. So the trick is to look when they’re looking at their canvas. You get into a kind of rhythm that way.
BTW, Dusan liked to whistle while he painted. I tried to show that in this portrait, but it's a little subtle so I thought I'd point it out.
More to come,

Great painting.
Thank you @michaelstobiersk
That's a brilliant portrait. You can almost hear him whistling.
Thank you @saiku
