"Animas River Rocks"
Painted on location on the banks of the Animas River, north of Durango, Colorado.
”Animas River Rocks” 7”x11” (#2953) watercolor on Arches by Lee Gordon Seebach
I obtained the lines of sparkling water by scratching the dried painting with the corner of a singled edged razor blade.
A tip: It's important when depicting water scenes like this one, to show that light line at the edge of the water.
I hope you enjoy seeing this painting.
More to come,
Lee
