Day 5 - CROCHETED FOREST Stop motion film ident (Children's Film Festival Seattle)

Hi Steemit!

This weekend we have been busy sorting out the back room to make space for filming. We have also been working hard on knitted and crocheted props for the film. We have managed to re use a few knitted backgrounds from previous shoots but were still in need of some new ones. Below is a pic of us piecing knitted sections together to create the 'forest floor' for one of our shots.

For the trees we are using a mixture of crocheted cones for evergreens and pompoms for tree tops, made in a variety of sizes.

For the landscape we are using various hand knitted blankets, some made for this shoot, others from previous shoots. This is still a work in progress and we shall be expanding greatly on this scene so we will be able to take birdseye view shots from above as well as wider side view shots. We will also be making larger scale versions of trees so that we can get a view of the plane from within the forest.

As mentioned in our last Steemit post, all profit made from our posts will be put back into materials needed for the film.
