I can almost see you | Original Painting

Hello!

Today i'm back with another more spiritual painting! I created it without my usual way of structuring the creation process, and instead forgot about all the technicalities + my preferred style as i just went ahead, letting it flow.

I ended up painting a bear, because they symbolize strength, willpower, protectiveness and goofballism to me, all of which i feel familiar with as well, some being more developed then others :)

Once again i decided to make it more of a nightly scene, as i feel that it has this sort of mysticism to it that get's me out of my head every time. I used to be really scared of the dark, but weirdly enough, the more familiar i get with what's going on inside, the less scared i become of it, to the point where it is now where i'm almost completely comfortable to be outside on my own, even in the darkest corners.

What also helped me, was to instead of fleeing/resisting frightening images/thoughts, i saw them as reflections of my own unexplored territory that i haven't been familiarized with yet or tried to avoid on purpose.

It takes away a lot of anxiety, as it's just a pointer towards more introspection and contemplation, and the less i get overwhelmed by fear, the more i see how balanced i've gotten. Don't know if this makes any sense, but maybe it can also help you :)
