"AT THE CIRCUS" CONTEST

Hi dear friends!
This is the drawing with which I participate in the @agneslaczo contest with the theme "AT THE CIRCUS".
Thank you very much @agneslaczo for this wonderful idea!
I love the circus made up of people such as Le Cirque du soleil, or other very good companies absent of animals, because although it is great that animals can learn, in my opinion they must stay free!!
And I'm a big fan of Toulouse Lautrec and his circus drawings that are magnificent!!
In my drawing I wanted to portray an artist who is finishing his makeup before the show, while we observers are his mirror in which he is looking.
Behind him there is the entrance to the marquee and we can see other artists and acrobats who are training. Everything is immersed in a very colourful atmosphere!
As a support I used a slightly grey cardboard, so that the whites can be seen more; as a technique I used coloured watercolorable pencils.

Questo è il disegno con il quale partecipo al contest di @agneslaczo con il tema "CIRCO".
Grazie @agneslaczo per questa splendida idea!
Io adoro il circo formato da sole persone , come Le Cirque du soleil, o altre bravissime compagnie assenti di animali, perchè malgrado sia grandioso cosa gli animali possano imparare, secondo me vanno tenuti in libertà!!!
Oltretutto sono una fanatica di Toulouse Lautrec e i suoi disegni del circo che sono magnifici!!!
Nel mio disegno ho voluto raffigurare un artista che sta rifinendo il suo trucco prima dello spettaccolo, mentre noi osservatori siamo il suo specchio in cui sta guardando.
Dietro di lui c’è l‘entrata del tendone e possiamo vedere altri artisti e acrobati che si stanno allenando. Il tutto è immerso da un’atmosfera molto colorata!
Come supporto ho usato un cartoncino leggermente grigio, cosicchè i bianchi si vedono di più; come tecnica invece ho utilizzato delle matite colorate acquarellabili.
