Monica Lee

Is a talented artist based in Malaysia, who uses only a small selection of very fine pencils, creates incredible photorealistic drawings. Before engaging in illustration, Lee worked in the digital art world for 12 years. In addition, he has a great admiration for photography because of his father who works in that field.

Paul Cadden

Is a talented artist born in 1964, in Glasgow, Scotland, who began drawing since he was 6 years old. It shows, it is the incredible hyperrealistic drawings that he creates, with such a level of detail so impressive, that make them think they are black and white photographs.

It is really amazing to see Cadden's ability to create these works; Which are mostly created with only a pencil and, they manage to capture an intense vision, even beyond the capabilities of photography. A very inspiring work, which here at FuriaMag we could not miss. What do you think?

Franco Clun

Is a talented self-taught artist based in Italy, who surprises us with his incredible hyperrealistic drawings in pencil. For a long time Franco was engaged in other types of things, but it was three years ago that he returned to one of his passions, to draw. According to him, he was not fortunate enough to study art, and everything he knows has learned by accumulating experience and reading some drawing manuals. One more sample of what practice does to the teacher.

Inspired by the media, most of these drawings are from celebrities and television characters, plus some self-portraits and drawings of animals.

Is a talented artist based in Germany, who creates spectacular realistic pencil drawings. Works to which he denominates in HD, due to the great amount of details that tries to portray in his portraits, especially in the skin and the hair.

Boris Pelcer

Is a designer and artist working in a variety of media, including drawing, painting, illustration and typography. He creates to inspire a sense of moments of curiosity, of joy and to encourage discernment. Sample of it is "Something Somewhere", a spectacular series of surrealist illustrations, in which only it used pencil and gel of white ink on Bristol paper.

Brian Boulton

Based in Vancouver, the talented artist Brian Boulton creates stunning hyper-realistic drawings in graphite, which capture unique moments in the everyday life of anonymous subjects. Based on digital photos, these solitary characters face away from the viewer and are removed from their urban surroundings. Brian sees his drawings as a neutral documentation of a subject that becomes a collaboration with the viewer, as they participate by projecting personality and subject history.

Brian, has used photography as the basis for his drawings since his early years. While many contemporary artists generate digital images as a final product, this process is reversed by producing an analogical physical image from the digital archive. This process of manual reproduction gives a new meaning to the minute detail, while the consequence of a point texture can be lost in a photograph, takes on a new importance when done exactly by hand. Brian's minutely detailed and complex practice is tempered by the incorporation of an element of spontaneity. Enjoy!

Paul Lung

38-year-old artist based in Hong Kong; Who only needs a 0.5 mm graphite pencil and A2 paper sheets, to create these amazing cat drawings.

Although he also draws portraits of his family and friends, much of his creations are inspired by his pet. Paul, devotes about 3 to 4 hours each day, after arriving home from work. Each of his drawings can take about 60 hours, and although it seems incredible, this artist never uses draft. Enjoy!
