I had some left over shrink plastic, I decided to make a hydrangea using it. I spent a whole day to make this but actually I am not satisefied with the outcome.

做法

Cut foam ball in half using a cutter

用美工刀把保麗龍球切半

Pain a half foam ball using nail polish, arylic paint should work for foam better. Use a tooth pick to hold the ball prevent the hands getting dirty. Wait until dry.

用指甲油或塑膠彩在已切半的保麗龍球上塗滿顏色。用牙籤撮著球，不會弄髒手。把球風乾。

I draw white line to show to where to cut, you do not need to draw anything as the shape of petals don't need to be exact. Cut a 4 x 4 cm square on a shrink plastic then punch a hold at the middle using a hole punch.

我畫了白線表示要剪的地方，做的時間不用畫的。把熱縮片剪成一個4 x 4厘米的正方形，在中間用打洞器打洞。

Cut 4 diamond shape from the 4 corners towards the centre.

從4隻角向中間剪4個鑽石形

Smoothen the corners

Put the plastic into a heat-proof container, use heat tool to shrink it, you may use a hair dryer. Shape the plastic before it is hardened. The plastic is very hot, it is better to wear a gloves when doing this step. One petal is done.

把膠片放這耐熱容器，用熱風槍吹它。在它冷卻硬化前塑型。可能會很燙，最好戴手套做。 這樣做了一個花瓣。

Cut the pin into 1 cm using pliers

用鉗把珍珠大頭針剪至1 cm

Create more pin and petals, each petal needs 1 pin. To determine the number, pin the petals into the non-coloured half of the foam ball. This steps is very time-consuming. I found that I need at least 26 petals and pin.

做多些大頭針和花瓣。一個花瓣要一支大頭針。要知道要弄多少，把做好的花瓣釘上沒有填顏色的另一半個保麗龍估計。這要要花很多時間。我要少至少26個花瓣。

Paint the petals in nail polish, wait untill dry

在花瓣上塗上指甲油，風乾。

Resemble the petals into the coloured half of the foam ball. If you want to make it more secure, you may use super glue to secure the pins. I made some little flowers out of 2 x 2 cm square

組裝，把上了色的花瓣釘上塗了顏色的半個保麗龍球。想更穩固的話可以用膠水固定大頭針。我另外用2 x 2cm的熱縮片做了一點小小花。

I wanted to make a whole spheical hydrangea but I found it was too time-consuming I only made half of a sphere. I will not make this again.

原本要弄整個球的，但是花的時間太多而效果未如理想放棄了。
