DAY #3 - Enhancing My Drawing Skills - Leaving for a Week?!
Today we catch up a little because the last 2 days I've been busy preparing for my departure next week. I'm leaving to a camp for kids to play in the holidays, I'm going to be mentoring them and playing games with them to ultimately become a certified mentor myself. I have to spend 50 hours with the kids to complete my practical part of the course (this translates in roughly 2 weeks). The upcoming week will be my second week in the field and (hopefully) the last practical evaluated week I have to do. So that's what I've been doing lately, I have been drawing I just didn't find the time to post it here unfortunately.
The end result
WhatI had in mind was a Roman officer (low-medium rank) but it turned out to be a mix of ancient Rome and a somewhat tribal commander. I tried to focus on the head and the helmet and I believe I did a great job diminsion-wise. A point of improvent could be the face and the facial traits in general. It still looks to plain in my opinion. That certainly will be something I will take with me on my journey moving forward.
Since I'm leaving tomorrow (and I won't have access to the internet) I will not be able to continue any of my posts for the next couple of days. But hopefully on friday I will pickup where I left off (if I'm not too exhausted obviously :D)
I guess I will see you guys then!
