In honor of Cinco de Mayo

I remembered some photos I took at the museum. Life has encroached on my posting time, but I wanted to get more posts out there. Art has no time stamp - so here.

There was an entire section dedicated to the colorful style in drawing and decorative art. The above was the entryway to the wide open area where Mexican art is housed.

Some pieces are exaggerated depictions of the human body.

Others center around the dry desert environment of northern Central America.
