Facial sculpture in wood media

carving often become one of the needs in the world of art, this time I tried to carve orders from a father who he carved his face on a wood using teak, wood is in good use and very easy in carving, in this carving I'm not too shrewd and my order refused to my friend who was in the world of carving, and did receive all the carved wood carving.

in the engraving this time I see little where the engraver only takes into account the field of sides and shapes, he does not take into account big or small.

in this engraving, each side takes into account how the shape and look of his face, engraving in the art is very dependent of the face shape and difficulty in facial expression.

and in the carved wood, only part of the face, so the wood in the square where the square filled the face completely.

and cut it using grenda and just take square, just like the picture below
