Jakarta Art Center Photography
Gedung Kesenian Jakarta (Jakarta Art Building) is one of historical buildings in Jakarta. It was built by Netherland colonial government in 1821. It was called Schouwburg Weltevreden at the time. The idea of theatre building came from Sir Stamford Raffles. Architect J.C. Schultze designed this building. Now the theatre performs many high cultural and art events from Indonesian and foreign artists.
