Istiqlal Mosque-Photography
The view of Istiqlal Mosque from north-east side. This is the most popular and historic mosque in Jakarta. It’s position is unique because it is across Jakarta Chatedral Church and close to National Monument. Frederich Silaban, a Christian architect from North Sumatera, designed this mosque after winning the mosque design competition created by President Sukarno’s government.
