Hello friends of this great community that helps us to improve ourselves to improve, in this opportunity I return with you with a portrait of a very popular pop singer is Rihanna, I called my attention for her look and her sensual lips, which I proposed to capture through graphite and charcoal. I had never worked with this technique of grabbing the natural coal grind it and using it for real portraits I enjoyed it a lot.
I hope you like it.
Step by step of the Drawing.
To start the drawing I went first to the eyes with a graphite pencil 2B and a 4H.
With a mechanical pencil I made the eyebrows blot a little and then pass the 6B pencil gently. With a brush and charcoal, shade a little around the eyes.
Using natural charcoal and a brush I spread a little around the upper area of the face leaving some blank spaces to * ### reflect the light. Then lower to the nose to give it some depth.
Then work the lips thing that for me is not easy but I think I achieved a little what I wanted, to look sexy hahahaha.
with a pencil 3B, 6B and 7B work the hair and with a rubber strip lights. The last thing I did was the ear with the ring.
Working with charcoal I love it because it gives a natural texture to the drawing I recommend it especially the natural one.
Materials:
- Card cardboard type Bristol.
- Graphite pencils 4H, 2B, 3B, 6B and 7B.
- 0.5 HB mechanical pencil.
- Ground Coal
- Small round brush.
- Eraser.
- Cotton and napkin
Beautiful drawing ...
