The Amazing Lights of the WonderFruit Festival. (Photo-Tour)
Wonderfruit is a 4-day celebration of arts, music and lifestyle that is held annually in Thailand. It emphasizes sustainability and social responsibility through a wide variety of events, including music performances, Dj's, talks, workshops and art displays.
WONDERFRUIT
I have just returned and will be steeming more about this event over the coming days. However, I am tired today, so I will just share with you some of the wonderful night-time displays of lights at Wonderfruit. I hope you enjoy them.
FORBIDDEN FRUIT
This was the late night venue for house and dance music till late. Also decked out with soft pillows and lounges.
THE MOON
The set for an interactive puppet show from Australia.
BACK TO THE BREAST
Made from cotton and hand-painted are these giant plaster casts of a models breasts.
THE MOLAM BUS
The bus creates a unique performance platfrom for authentic cultural performances from the North-East of Thailand.
A TASTE OF WONDER
This is the area where Thai and international fashion houses exhibit their wares.
BONAFIDE BY ZEIGHT
A geometric light installation which comes alive at the night time.
THE CYM TEMPLE
A Spanish art installation that aims to reflect trash and waste in a creative manner.
THE ZIGGURAT
Built from old crates, boxes and bottles. This is the place to relax with a cold drink in an environment built from upcycling discarded items.
MOBILE CAGE
Ask to join and you may sit on the pickup truck as it roams around the event

Even the golf karts for event staff got some decoration
THE SOLAR STAGE AT DUSK
If you think this looks like something you would see at Burning Man Festival you would be correct. This is the work of Gregg Fleishman and his signature panel system. It was the popular place to begin and end the day.

This is just a fraction of what was on show, but by this stage of the evening I had walked around the entire venue about 5 times and was almost out of power. I hope you like these pictures and please check back for my full event report coming soon.
