A message to the world, a short visual story.
Oneness is the state of being completely united with the outer and inner world, oneness is love & care, connection & reflection. Only together we are stronger.
On 22 July 2016, a shooting occurred in a shopping mall in Munich, Germany. Ten people, including the perpetrator, were killed and 36 others were injured. It was one more sign in that year of ugly aggression, destruction, trying to scare and divide people.
I was in my studio looking at the footage from a photo/video project, which was just done. The model left, I had a huge mess to clean but the news of the attack pierced my soul, my heart was a mess, I was so upset with humanity, with the paths our world is following.
What could I do?
How many people felt the same?
Feeling so weak and not able to contribute to a change was a terrible thing. I sat down and wrote the words you will hear in the video. They were the only answer I had at that moment. I made the project very soon after. My focus was absolutely not in perfection or details. I just wanted to have a visual symbol of united human power and love for my little message to the world.

Thank you dear Cabe. I really appreciate it. To be honest I am not into challenges and competitions. I have invested a big part of my real life in those, won more than enough awards and I just want to share my work and communicate with others but not to get totally lost in the digital world of Steemit. All these challenges have their positive sides but at some point, it gets too much. I love Steemit for what it is. It is a great ecosystem with some issues and a bunch of folks using the system a bit too much in a way that if they keep on in such a way it may crash. I will keep an eye on the tag and will think about it. I just don't want to compete or compare with anyone. With love and light;)
Yes, I understand what you're saying, and I didn't mean to make that the focus of my comment. Truly, I do admire your Artwork so much.
Just so you know, there's no competition in SVQ, just delighting in the collective Vision. It's called a community challenge because that's our local familiar way of saying it, but a more accurate expression is: "community invitation" or maybe "community initiation". You're the second person I've reached out to, with the other being @denniskonstanti, both of whom I recognize as Visionary Artists.

I am not a visionary artist in the common sense. I have a strong influence from surrealism and symbolism, pittura metafisica, spiritual philosophy but I do my thing, I am totally against the use of drugs. Most visionary artists just copy Andrew Jones & Alex Gray in a visual way. If there is something I do, I would call it visual alchemy;)

Your notes here are bringing a lot of clarity to me, as I try to give SVQ definition and character. Thanks for that! I'm glad to know your perspective. In fact, I've been surprised by the surreal imagery I'm seeing in the contest so far, but maybe it's because of my use of the word "Visionary," and its relation to Alex Gray, etc., as you're saying. I'll rethink that. I promise, I'm not aiming for psychedelic imagery, although that kind of Vision is also welcomed. My genuine hope is to encourage myself and others to envision a better future, for our planet. In the purest sense of the Native American rite of passion called "Vision Quest," there are no drugs involved. There is only a long-term dedicated search for clarity and focus, and a pursuit of the big picture view, in alignment with Spirit. I'm a talented and passionate artist, and I see the talent and passion in you–she inspires me.
Wonderful words! I will read more about the vision quest in native American traditions. No it makes more sense to me as well.
