🎨 📸 Commission ART ⭐️ DISNEY: THE JUNGLE BOOK ⭐️ movie premiere in SPAIN /bodypaint, photography & video/

Hello, dear online travellers, here you can find a camouflage bodypainting photos & two making of videos. The project was created for the official Jungle Book film premiere in Madrid, Spain in 2016.

Not all full-time professional artists create commission projects. I do since I am 13 years old (I know it sounds strange, but it is true) , and I love it too. As artists, we tend to have a few favourite topics, which we observe from different perspectives and develop in multiple visual ways.

From my experience commissions bring a totally different level in the game. Sometimes the wishes of the client can be hard, confusing and odd. I can write a book about all the crazy cases and projects around the world. At the end what matters the most is to manage to find a way to be inspired by something you would maybe normally not create, the build-up balance between achieving an appealing result for your own expectations, and the client to be very happy at the same time.

I have been blessed to be invited to create artworks all around the world. The main key to that is in one simple to say sentence: Always go the extra mile.
Commitment is a not just a word, it is a consciously created over time quality, which became like a dodo bird in the contemporary world.

This image is a close up of my model's torso. My painting was created free-hand. The hardest thing about camouflage bodypainting is that the artist has to go back and forth all the time to create a wonderful illusion, which works best from one viewing point. In the world of bodypainting there is A LOT of poor quality work. It is one of the hardest art jobs.

You may ask why?
The model breaths, moves, gets often dizzy from standing for a long time. The body gets cold when it is not moving, not many people are patient enough to stand still without talking and moving. There are many kinds of bodypainting color brands, some horrible, some amazing. If a person wants to start with bodypainting but has no clue of the products the chances are very high to invest a lot of money in bodypainting products, which are really hard to use and the results are disappointing. The models sweat, depending on their diet and the weather condition the skin and the color react in a different way. After a few hours, the colors are not so intense as firstly painted, so the artist has to create a body painting in a way that it will look great also 5 hours later. The painter has to work extremely fast and exact. I have been teaching art classes for 15 years and bodypainting classes for 11. All of my students struggled the most with the time and the overall design, connection of shapes & tones.
