“Poor old Marvin is in denial,”
“I hope he is a strong swimmer, can swim a mile.”
“For the Nile is one of the world’s great rivers, you see,”
“And to be swept downstream, would be alarming, exponentially!”

“No, no, no, he was in a State of Denial,”
“That means he was there, with the rank and file!”
“The State of de Nile, that must be Egypt!”
His conversational partner answered, in an accent most clipped.
“The Nile river widens out of Cairo,”
“I’ll draw you a map, do you have a biro?”
“Yes, the really wide part of the river Nile then runs West,”
“For thousands of miles, all at it’s best!”
“Past Libya, Italy, Algeria and France.”
“It flows merrily along, what a fine dance!”
“Not until it does reach between Morocco and Gibraltar.”
“Not for a second does it ever alter.”
“Calm and steady, not at all frantic,”
“Until it finally runs into the Atlantic.”

“I thought that wider part was the Mediterranean Sea?”
“It just shows how wrong one can be!”
“Farewell, goodbye, greetings we’ll send,”
“We’re sailing our felucca to the very end!”
