BEASTLY TALES
ALMS IN ARMS
Alms, alms for the needy,
Fill those begging bowls, we’re not at all greedy.
Daily they did the customary Alms round,
Never thinking of girls, to put their arms around.
In the first instance they were thinking of Alms of food.
Not for a second, of arms around girls, in a manner thought rude.
“And now, ladies, mademoiselles and mesdames,”
“Come into my arms, with all of your charms.”
Orville Chung shaved his ‘ead, ‘e meant no ‘arm.
As he joined the procession to procure an alm.
Having filled his alm’s bowl, he did take a seat,
And chomped away, until quite replete!
Great humor Richard as always. Best regards Armando.
