Aliens found their way to a most depleted earth.
Their archaeologists studied things for all they were worth.
With advanced technology they discovered, to their chagrin,
What a superlative mess this planet was in.
Car Tyres, shopping trolleys clogged rivers and lakes,
Tonnes of plastic, all over, gave head aches,
Ocean’s marine life choked to death,
Oxygen levels depleted, so out of breath.
Wondered the Aliens, as they continued their search,
“What sort of mad people caused such a lurch,”
“In the earth’s perfect equilibrium and poise.”
Someone’s stupidly played with them, as if they were toys.”

Their archaeologists noted with dismay,
“The people who lived here did live a strange way.”
“The vast majority were not so well founded,”
“An estimated one percent lived well, and the others hounded.”
“Hounded others to extract what money they had,”
“They must have been so terribly greedy and bad!”

“It seems that they were a class that did badly exploit,”
“Ruthlessly, mercilessly in a manner adroit,”
“Not only the lesser classes, but animals too.”
“The single minded, insatiable desire for wealth anew.”
“Greedily profiting from the other’s discomfort,”
“Cynically self-enriching for greed and sport.”
“Some of this ultra-rich class had never felt “nought”.
“But kept amassing more money than they could possibly spend,”
“Even if they could live ten lifetimes in the end.”

Those archaeologists from Outer Space,
Concluded the whole affair to be a great disgrace.
“How could so few, the ruling class?”
“Sitting, collectively, on their fat ass,”
“Cause so much figurative rape and pillage?”
“To the earth’s survival in the celestial village.”

Of course, this describes only a modicum of what those archaeologists did find.
The rest of their findings would blow anyone’s mind!
Now, to conclude matters, for it’s about time,
And we want Earth’s creation to remain sublime.
We’re told in the scriptures that things will soon be put right.
Let’s hope that one is able to fight the fine fight!

Now, the part about Aliens is pure make-believe.
But, as to all the rest we should not self-deceive.
Things will have to dramatically change soon,
Certainly not to any notion of living on the Moon,
But for the Earth to return, as the Creator intended.
For ever and ever, completely open-ended!
And it has to be soon, exponentially,
We cannot wait until 2053!
