The long necked leaf turtle is a rare animal which is mostly found in densely forested areas, where it can eat leaves from the low hanging branches of trees. It's reddish shell is a prized possession amongst adventurers, who use it to create turtle packs. These turtles have been hunted so often that their population has shrinked to half of what it used to be. Many scholars wonder how they even managed to survive this long as they have very few defenses against other beasts.
Their necks are so long that they can't fully
retract their heads into their shell, leaving them vulnerable to pretty much any kind of attack.
