Halloween Paper Lantern

Since Halloween is just around the corner. I am going to show you how to make paper lantern for Halloween. Let's go, let's do it!

We need colored papers, scissors, glue, thread, and needle.
(You can make big lanterns out of a whole A4 sheet, or cut the A4 sheet in half to make smaller ones. A combination of big and small looks good.)

First, Fold your sheet of colored papers (Orange, White, and Black) in half length ways.

Now, with the fold edge facing you, cut 1cm slits all along the lenght of the folded piece of paper. (Don't cut right to the edges, just make the slits sit about 4cm from each edge.)

Open the piece of paper out. Now roll it into a lantern shape and glue to close.

Now make mouth and eyes shape from the white and black paper like the picture above.

Then, glue it in to your lantern.

When you have at least four lanterns, you can use your needle with a thread to make holes in the tops and then string them together to hang up outside your house for Halloween. Hope you like it! :)
