Moroccan Artist: Khalid El Bouhali 🖌 🇲🇦

At just 23 years old, Khalid El Bouhali is already an outstanding artist. The pencil and the brush? Too easy for him. He also has the incredible gift of drawing the perfect portrait of a star or an ordinary person, using liquid and solid food products.

Self-taught, he did not study art. He was inspired by the works of a painter dad, a mother and a sister who were also in love with drawing and painting. Khalid El Bouhali has only been able to develop his innate talent out of the ordinary based on the rules of art that he has been taught since his childhood. His very first portrait, that of the famous Moroccan actor Abdeljabbar Louzir.

After having posted it on his YouTube channel and obtained more than 60,000 views, the desire to make others has not left. He then took part in a Moroccan TV show that brings together young talents from different artistic disciplines, where he obtained third place. What motivated him to move forward and create even more. Khalid has made several portraits including those of Moroccan celebrities such as Abdelhadi Belkhayat, Abelouahab Doukkali, Hassan El Fadd, Nouamane Lahlou, Souad Sabir or Hajja hamdaouia, and many others ... The most surprising remains mainly the way he operates for impeccably reproduce the smallest details of their features: the artist materializes their faces with the help of various foods, such as milk, chocolate, yoghurt, sugar, or spices such as salt and pepper, which he then sets with suitable products.

His prodigious works have enabled him to shine in the world of art and to participate in several festivals and cultural events in Morocco and abroad, where he proudly exhibited his works.
Originally from the city of Agadir, the young artist will represent Morocco at the 5th edition of Arabs' Got Talent in Lebanon in March 2017.
